Does anyone think Hollister is ripping you off on their flip flops?

TODAY I WENT TO TARGET AND FOUND THE EXACT FLIP FLOPS HOLLISTER HAS EXCEPT THE INSIGNIA. WHATS GOING ON? NO ONE AT SCHOOL CAN NOTICE THE DIFFERENCE?

Does anyone think Hollister is ripping you off on their flip flops?
i absolutely heart hollister too, but yesss they do you off on lots of their things. A lot of their stuff is the EXACT same in like, target and many other stores except they put the little seagull on the front. Plus, i bought hollister flip flops and they broke in like, 3 days...
Reply:hollister A+E A/F, they all make a lot of money off the 12-15yr old kids that absolutely must have thier name plastered over everything they wear. There's a saying in clothing retail, "you buy a shirt, you bought the whole rack", cause the shirt you just bought cost about a dollar to make and import.
Reply:it better buying thing in original brand....
Reply:It's HOLLISTER.

A PREP store.

Of course they're going to rip you off.

Don't go to Abercrombie and Fitch, either.
Reply:um hollister rips everyone off with ALL their clothes, not just their flip-flops, its a stupid name brand so people think if they pay more for it they`ll be better than everyone else.
Reply:NO!! hollister flip flops are sooo comfortable and they fit great!!! and its better quality. like at old navy they are really cheap, but the quality varies. i have the blue ones and for some reason they hurt me but i have the black ones and i wear those to like the mall and stuff cuz they are comfotable. and at old navy, your foot gets imprinted on the shoe, but not at hollister.
Reply:yea..all of they're items are EXPENSIVE
Reply:This happens all the time. The only fool is the consumer and the fools who spend the money on expensive things just because of the brand or logo.

China among other countries manufacture the same exact things for many different companies. In some cases, the logo is the only difference. There is a possibility that the flip flops are not the same thing, but an imitation of the originals. Target is one of many retail stores who practice selling inexpensive items that look like the expensive brands.
Reply:exactly. its a total waste
Reply:yeai think they are thats wat those kinda stores like to do they like to over price so i just by plain clothes that are cheap and since i am good at graphic arts i put the logos on the clothes myself
Reply:if you don't have the real ones people r gonna make fun of u and ur gonna be a loser.
Reply:no i dont think so, hollister's not expensive. but if you buy the fake one's you have that feeling like its not as good even though its the same thing and that people will notice.
