Soft rubber looks very appealing, only thing is with feet that sweat a lot they tend to slip off, even if they have air holes. The material I found good is hard rubber with ruffles. How about suede or straw? Do you have any preference for a material for a footbed on flip flops??

Suede or staw does sound comfy to me. I like to have a pair someday.
Reply:I have a pair of rope flip flops. very comfy and can be washed in the washing machine.
Reply:If you will be ina non-water activities, I think the best is leather for the footbed, of course in leather flipflops, for water activities I think soft rubber with ruffles.

I go more for the look than the comfort though
