When playing Frisbee in the park - do you wear sneakers & socks, or just slip on sandals or flip flops?

If you wear slip on sandals or flip flops, do you play in them or kick them off and just play barefoot?

For Frisbee, I'm barefoot if the weather is nice and the ground is flat, mowed and doesn't have dogs running around. Otherwise, sneakers and socks if I think I am going to cut my foot or step in something. Playing Frisbee just feels good in bare feet though IMHO.
Reply:sneakers and socks- flip folps were not designed for long-term or athletic wear and can harm your posture, and when outside, it is safer to wear secure shoes, incase you come across a sharp object on the ground, broken glass for example.
Reply:Well when i was a baby i was really smart when my mom wasnt looking i would take em off but when she looked i put them back on! i miss my old days in the sand
Reply:I'd do it in sandals
Reply:I was playing barefoot, really showing off to the girls when I stepped on a bee. Kinda took that manly image down a few notches. Sneakers and socks.
Reply:I'm always barefoot, so I would play barefoot frisbee too! I've stepped on a bee once as a kid, long before I regularly went barefoot, but it didn't stop my going barefoot. I'm not very sensitive to bee stings (if someone asks what happened, I say 'the bee died'. It hurt when I stepped on it but half an hour later I couldn't find where it had stung me, as has happened to all other insect bites and stings I've ever had apart from mosquito's). Also I've been stung by bees far more often in other places; wearing skirts and one would get caught under the skirt, for example. I didn't give up wearing skirts; why should I give up going barefoot?
