My flip flops make a flip flop sound when I walk, does that mean that there cheap flip flops?

no nessacerally they are just a more bendable kind and flexable like rubbary.

My flip flops make a flip flop sound when I walk, does that mean that there cheap flip flops?
It depends on a couple of things:

1) How you walk

2) Your shoe height

I have flip flops that are $2.50 from Old Navy and $100 flops from Coach, they all flop. I find that the higher the platform, the more flop - like the J. Crew flip flops...those are loud!
Reply:hehe no, the strap just bends a bit more then your last pair to you hear a louder noise~
Reply:I like this silly question.

No, cheap flip-flops make more of a squishing sound. The good ones like Burberry, etc. are made of such a hard rubber that they make a very noticeable flip-flop sound.
Reply:What part of the name flip flop are we missing here? LOL They are named that for a reason. We call them thongs in Australia, cheap or expensive they still make the same noise.
Reply:Maybe, dont worry, if it bothers you that much, then buy new ones.
Reply:Here's your next question...

I flip the light switch to on and the room lights up. Is that a bad light switch?
Reply:Nope, thats why they're called flip flops, the nickname came from the sound they make.
Reply:well if they don't make a flip-flop sound, how can you call them flip-flops? And in my opinion... flip-flops SHOULD be cheap. I never pay more than $10 for a pair of flip-flops. Old Navy has the best flip flops.
Reply:mine do the same... i dont think it would matter.
Reply:No, all my flip flops make that noise and their not cheap!!!!!!!!
Reply:Mine do that, and not all of my flip-flops are cheap...........
Reply:Haha. Verry funny.

:)

All flip flops make that sound. It's just proves that it's a flip flop.

Cheers!
