Is it okay to snigger and point at me when I wear pop socks with flip flops?

When I go to the beach down under I always wear pop socks with my flip flops and for extra protection I put a Kiss Me Quick hat on over my knotted handkerchief. I have started noticing people pointing and sniggering. My chosen beachwear never got this reaction on the beaches at Skeggy or Clacton.

Is it okay to snigger and point at me when I wear pop socks with flip flops?
Sh*t Yeah!..........we all know you're getting a bit of practice in for the beaches back home!
