Im shy to ask my mom 4 flip flops?

ever since i was little i hated taking my socks off but now i wanna wear flip flops but im shy to tell my mom bcause she always can make me feel stupid what do i do

I mean my mom has this friend who literally goes out of her way just to insult me and the worst part of all is that my mom has the audacity to actually agree with her. Look I'm not trying to tell you should or shouldn't feel but what I am saying is that maybe you should try not to let things like that get to you. That's what I do but I know it can be hard especially when it's a parent or loved one. But if you ask me things like that really aren't as worth worrying about as they might seem.
Reply:k first avole how old are you? you should totaly be aloud to buy flip flpos and if you want to ask her first take off you shoes and socks and walk around and maby kick your legs or put a bug by your feet and say look! just so she will first get used to bare feet and once your sure she sees your barefeet you can show her you DONT were socks and then ask for flip flops!
Reply:You can always save up your money and buy them yourself, or tell your mom you want to go shoe shopping and then find a pair you like and just mention you want some sandals too. If she asks you about it, tell her that you're cool with taking off your socks now, and you will wear them enough to make the purchase worth it.

and i was to embarrassed to even come out of my room


its kinda a similar situation


just buy them yourself


like ask your mom if oyu can have money and then go with your friends and buy them


and then just come out with them


( my brothers would make fun of me and always say something stupid also about it but you can just ignore it)
Reply:i definitely know how you feel, but you should write her a letter and tell her that you like to TRY out a pair of flip flops, and maybe she wont think anything of it, but i don't know your mom, so it probably wont be the same in our situations.

My mom says that i look stupid in stuff so i always ask someone else what they think... My mom just does that cuz she knows it makes me mad... So just don't let the stuff she says get to you... =]

Reply:Just tell her u want 2 wear flip flops, and u would like it if she didn't give u a hard time about it. Tell her flip flops are the new style now, for both girls and guys. I know a lot of guys who wear flip flops. I love flip flops!! Good luck... = )
