Please help me clear up how to clean rainbow flip flops!?

i just bought a pair and so far they have gotton a bit dirty with my foot print but how do you clean them when they get dirty





i was looking at the other questions and i saw some said to gently rub then in warm water and soap but others said that if they EVER touch water it will ruin the color and it will stain your feet when you wear them! please help! i dont want to ruin my flip flops!

i shower with mine all the time and there are no signs of damage to the leather. just use soap and a brush to remove foot goo. it can get pretty gross if you wear them as much as i do.
Reply:I agree with RED. I've got several pair that I've washed in the washing machine numerous times, all colors, all different materials, and they are still like new. I haven't had to buy a new pair in 4 or 5 years.





I find it hard to believe that a pair of flip flops would be ruined should they ever touch water. You might take a wet washcloth and apply water to the underside of the straps and see if the colors fade or run, then you can decide how to clean them.
Reply:luke warm soapy water and i use it on all of my flip flops and it has never hurts them as a matter of a fact i throw them in the washing machine all the time and i have had some for over 4 years and when i wash them they look new again...
