Today is 10/2. Is it okay to wear flip-flops?

Before you say No! READ! A friend and I were talking about whether or not it's okay to still wear flip-flops, or thongs, whatever you may call them.





I SAY it depends on where you live. For example, where I live we've still got high's in the 80's.


I think people in the North should definitely not be wearing them anymore though. But those of us in the South, %26amp; in CA, FL, TX, AZ, etc. have still got warm enough temps. to.

Hey I think flip flips ROCK! I wear them any chance I get. I am from Texas so I know how it is...I remember last winter...I was still buying flip-flops. so I agree South can flip-flop somemore.... north...I dont reccomend it!
Reply:I say it depends on the weather and whatever you decide to do it your feet
Reply:Well why not? As long as it's nice and sunny out, your toenails are presentable, and you're not going to a formal occasion, flip flops are fine.
Reply:Unless it's snowing outside, there's no reason you can't wear flip flops any day of the year if that's what you want. Seriously, why should it matter to anyone else what you do? Is someone holding a gun to your head or something saying you can't wear them?
Reply:i live on the central coast of california and i'm still wearing flip flops every day. it DEFINITELY depends on where you live. especially because neither myself nor anyone else here ever consider fashion when choosing flip flops. definitely a year-round shoe this close to the beach.
Reply:do whatever the hell you want. here in australia, we wear thongs ALL YEAR round, even when it's freezing cold. they're sweet as shoes. just wear them.

I wear flip flops every day,and so do many others around here.

Reply:Unless you have fungus or heinous foot odor you can wear them whereever, but know this.





You never know when your buddies will want to play some basketball or something and you will be the chump who doesnt have shoes.





Also funny story. It was about November and I wore flip flops to class which was almost a mile across campus. Well It was a nice day when I left, but when I stepped out of class, Freezing Rain. That ranked among the most painful moments in my life.





Otherwise flip flop on.
Reply:Certainly not to work. I often wear them as casual wear ; they are comfortable, some can be very stylish and very attractive to the feet.
Reply:Personaly id say you should only wear them on thursdays if the tempreture is between 25-40 c . lol come on does it matter were ya are what the tempreture is or whatever else ..............
Reply:Wear what you feel comfortable wearing. If it is warm enough for you(or if you don't mind cool weather),wear your flip flops whenever. That's the joy of living in America.

absolutely, if you're comfy with it. there are really no rules when it comes to fashion. the rules change constantly, and that basically makes them invalid.


i have been known to wear sandals in the winter. :)
Reply:If weather permits.Wear them. I am in Texas and saw tons of people wearing them today. If you are up north and have an unusually hot day, go for it. Here, we occasionally have temperatures in the 80s around the Christmas Holidays so one day we will be wearing tanks, thongs and shorts and the next day it will be cold and stormy and everybody will be bundled up.
Reply:flip flops are always innnnnn, as long as u don't wear them in snow. i mean u can wear a nice pair to a school dane to night out clubbing. it is comfy and cute :)
Reply:Well, given that flipflops aren't exactly high fashion any time of year, if you want to wear them then I think that the temperature is the only factor that would determine whether or not to shove them in the back of the closet 'til next spring.





If your toes aren't cold, then wear them.

Reply:if that's what you want to wear then wear it/them..and since it is still like in the 80's than ya why not i mean its not like its cold..but it just depends on if you are comfortable in..and i think that flip-flops are cute with almost anything....
Reply:um if it's not lyk freezing then of course. i mean what's wrong with it ?? i wear a black jacket in the summer cuz the weather here is freezing !
