Reply:BOTH. Flip flops are for after you have done your fashionable entrance through the hotel doors, mingled with all your friends and taken all your pictures including your formal pictures. Than when it's dance/hang out/gambling/other stuff time, that's when you pop out with your flip flops!





During my prom literally half the dance floor was filled with girls in flip flops! I mean dude we want to look good but we need out feet tomorrow too!





If your worried about losing your stuff, 1. make sure it's not that expensive where you can afford to loose it. 2. Have someone that's not so sociable sit on your table so they can stand guard for all your personables! or 3. Make your date carry it! haha... t

I think you should wear flip flops. Yes, prom is supposed to be formal and dressy, but I think flip flops would convey a fun spirit and a sense of humor about how seriously people take prom. Not only that, but your feet won't be killing you so you can actually dance and have fun.





That's just my opinion though.
Reply:If you live in Hawaii flip flops are just fine IF NOT..I don't think they're the best idea. If you're worried about your feet getting tired throughout the night wear your heels and then bring your flip flops w/ you so you can slip into them sometime during the night..aside from that...have a great time because you'll remember this night forever!
Reply:What I would do is buy/use a pair of cute heels. Wear them to the prom up until dancing starts. Then I would break out the flip flops if your feet tend to hurt easily.





If you decide to buy heels, don't spend too much because you won't be wearing them too much.

Honestly, I can't believe that this country is turning into a bunch of slobs that will probably wear flip-flops to their own funerals.

If you want to be comfortable try a pair of fancy looking flats or even a small heel if you don't want to go all out....?

Reply:Most definetly heels. They don't have to be like 6 inch, whatever length makes you feel comfortable. Besides, alot of people take off their shoes to dance.
