sandals, tennis shoes, boots....go to your local mall and i'm sure you will find many, many shoes that you like!
Reply:I would transfer immediately.. I could not be a part of a school that did not respect a persons right to wear flip flops

You should picket..
Reply:Got to be kidding ---- I about died when I heard one could wear flip-flops..

What would happen if there was water on the floor, you are in a hurry you could slip %26amp; get hurt. Or yet a fire drill. Or a real fire?? I no sharp objects can go right through a flip-flop because it happen to me. Schools today are not what they use to be ... Dress codes are way out of line!!!! BE CAREFUL!!!
Reply:I would follow the rules! There are many beautiful types of shoes out there. I like Dansko shoes of all styles. You can look them up on the computer. I like the ones with closed toes and a strap ankle. They are fashionable and comfortable.
Reply:go barefoot
Reply:Wear what is required.Shoes,Sneakers
Reply:Ballet flats would be a good option for me. They are easy to get on and off in a pinch like flip flops.
Reply:i love Van's slip ons...and they come in all different designs and colors etc...wear pumps or wedges...they are really cute and go with just about everything...or just buy a really cute pair of flats
Reply:you would have definitely died when I was in school. we couldn't wear shorts!! skirts had to be below the knees. no strappy tops or stomach showing. this was even in the 80's!!! no cokes in the machines either ... only little juice cans!!god that sounds sucky!! p.s. we wore mostly loafers (sometimes we called them deck shoes, you know like boating)
