Where can I find shoes for my wedding? Please Help! Flip Flops.?

So my wedding colors are yellow and white. Where can I find yellow(canary) flip flops for my bridesmaids, and white ones for me. Preferably not cheap ones, and I want some that have a little wedge, and the straps are made out of like a fabric. Nothing plastic, or rubber. Thank you. My wedding is in the summer so the flip flops are going to be perfect!

Go to your local craft or fabric store and look for the soles and then use some pinking shears to cut cloth strips in the color you like to make the top of the sandal. very inexpensive and it's a personal touch. Try Michael's or Hobby Lobby...


Victoria's Secret...Yellow with wedge and white with wedge 2 pair for 20.00...check it out...there are some with sequence and some with out. The double strap ones are very cute. You can have the right sizes shipped to you if you buy on-line overnight is a little more expensive, but if you are short on time they can accommodate you.

My future sister-in-law is giving us flip flops to match our bridesmaids' dresses as part of her gift to us. They are just plain flat ones, not with a wedge, but the colors are beautiful, the straps and edging are fabric, and the footbase part is bamboo or something. I can't wait to get mine, because I LOVE a good flip flop! Best wishes.

Reply:My sisters bought these for my other sister's wedding. They are very nice. I would suggest just ordering your bridesmaids in white and taking them to a local shoe or bridal shop that offers dyeing. You can usually take a fabric swatch of the dresses and have them dyed to match. Here are some places I had in my favorites that carry these.

Most of these here have the same one style that fits best what you are describing. The style is called Jinni. I think they may be by Dyeables but I am not positive on that. Those are what my sisters ordered and they are really nice.

Reply:Actually, even if you wedding is in the summer, flip flops are never perfect. Why not some corkscrew wedges or espidrilles? At least try to dress it up a little!
